A dedication service was held in a white portable by Rev. Sam Sober on Sept. 11, 1960
Next, ground was broken for a first (interim) building).
The Service of Constitution inducted 167 members on Novenber 13, 1960. For the 60th Anniversary, these 8 charter members still were attending Forest Hill United
In the fall of 1977 a 3000 square foot addition was added, giving the Fireside room and McIntyre Hall below.
The Corner stone for the newest addition was laid November 23, 1986. This provided addition office space, classrooms and a relocated Narthex.
In February 1983 a second service started with Sunday school happening at 11:00 am.
In September 1984 a second minister was hired. There were 824 members ans 261 children.
2020 was the year of a new sign by the Westmount Rd. celebrating Forest Hill United’s 60th anniversary.
This is the church that Forest Hill used until moving into the current build on Novemember 13, 1963
