Gary Clark
Gary hails from PEI and sees himself as a down-home kind of guy. He and his partner Kathy Douglas share six kids, seven grandchildren and continue to be in relationship with their now grown foster kids. He studied primarily in Halifax receiving his Masters of Divinity in 1988. He has served congregations in Nova Scotia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Ontario. He has worked in solo ministries and with other ministers. He was drawn to Forest Hill United Church (FHUC) because it follows the Holy Currencies philosophy (he loves talking about Holy Currencies).
FHUC embraces a team approach to leadership where we celebrate each person’s best gifts. We take their guidance in their expertise seriously. I hold leadership in worship and administration. I am tasked with holding the needs of the congregation and world, the trends of our society, and the Spirit’s calling together so that dreams for FHUC’s future may be given a voice. I am open to hearing where your heart and soul calls you so that we may journey together.
